July
- 2010 MBA Batch was kick started on July 15,
2010 with the Inaugural Function at the Seminar
Hall of Rai Business School Chennai. Subsequent
to a prayer seeking Gracious God's blessings,
Prof. Venkateswaran , Head -Academics, gave
the students and their parents gathered in the
Seminar Hall, a slight insight into what they
can expect from the B School during the two
year period of their association and what Rai
Business School expects back from them. He also
spoke on the corporate expectations. Being a
retired Professional from banking Services,
his insights were of high value. This was followed
by the lighting of "Kuthuvilakku"
by the Chief Guest of the occasion, Ms. Asha
Mathen, Vice President, Deutsche Bank. Her inaugural
address was a Bird's eye view on the topic Professionalism.
She explained the terminology for the future
executives through views and examples from her
own vast career experience and the audience
was taken aback by the vastness of the terminology
and by knowing the expectations of the industry
from MBA Graduates. Mr. Cherian Jacob, Director,
handed over the memento to the Chief Guest.
This was followed by a presentation by Sr. Faculty,
Mrs Anandhi on the Teaching Pedagogy and giving
a clear and deep perception about RBS and the
activities conducted at RBS, to transform crude
students to Professionals. The session came
to an end by Prof. Venkateswaran handing over
Student's Guidelines to be followed in the college
campus and later students dispersing to attend
their first class. |
