Rai Business School Chennai has Inaugurated its 8th batch of MBA program on 18th July 2011. It was a curtain raiser to the mainframe management program at RBS Chennai. Prof. B.Venkateswaran, Head( Academics) welcomed all the students and parents and gave a glimpse of the entire program for two years. The Chief Guest Mr. Madhu Mathen, DGM - Air India was a bundle of intense energy that got transferred to the whole audience, when he awakened on “Why an MBA and how an MBA can make India proud”, with his captivating thoughts. Needless to say, he rekindled the importance of social participation by the intelligentsia in creating a harmonious and healthy society. Mr. Srinivas Sripadam, Director, Dell Services Business Process Solution, then addressed the audience on "Motivation" with special reference to intrinsic and extrinsic motivational factors. G Subramanian, Deputy Manager, HR Reliance BPO highlighted on corporate expectations from MBA students. In his witty and captivating style he emphasized the three key aspects of the MBA degree, namely, the acquisition of business Knowledge, leadership abilities and networking. Prof. Venkateswaran, Head -Academics underlined the message. “By selecting RBS Chennai, you have gained an opportunity that is very difficult to find anywhere” he told the assembled students and their parents and emphasized the need on the part of parents to constantly interact with the Faculty and their wards and monitor their progress.
